Follow you dreams!!!

I went to bed so late last night to wake up very early this morning for the call backs to my short film "My 21st Birthday" that I am casting for. I was so impressed by the actors who were called back. They all did amazing!!!! Thank you so much everyone! This is my first project as a writer, producer and director. I've decided to step aside as an Actress and show the world a different side to me. I have an amazing team behind me in this project. They are all so committed and really believe in this project and I'm so grateful to have them. Today as I watched the actors read with each other I saw the film coming to life and it was the best feeling ever. This short film is based on a true story about my real 21st birthday in which my 2 cousins and brother got stabbed. By the grace of God they survived and are still here till this day. I've been through a lot in my life and decided to write short films on it to inspire the world. Every struggle has molded me into the strong women I am. In the end my goal is to have the power to inspire people to follow their dreams regardless of the set backs. As long as you stay focused and believe in yourself anything is possible. I'm so excited about my first short film, it is the stepping stone to many more :) So for anyone reading this blog post I'm here to tell you NEVER give up on your dreams and NEVER settle. Always set the bar higher each time so you continue to work harder. You only live once so make the best of it!
